Designed for compact cameras with a 24mm equivalent lens, this premium wet lens restores your camera's wide field of view underwater, making it ideal for photographing coral reefs, wrecks, large marine life, divers, and schools of fish.
With a 120° field of view, the UWL-400F lets you capture dramatic underwater scenes while staying close to your subject. Shooting from a shorter distance reduces the amount of water between the camera and your subject, resulting in sharper images, richer colors, improved contrast, and less backscatter. It also focuses directly at the dome, making it an outstanding choice for Close-Focus Wide-Angle (CFWA) photography.
The lens features a precision 5-element, 5-group optical design with multi-layer anti-reflection coatings on the glass elements and a hard-coated polycarbonate dome for excellent image quality and reduced flare. Its rugged aluminum alloy housing is built to withstand years of underwater use.
The UWL-400F can be installed or removed during the dive, giving you the flexibility to switch between wide-angle and standard shooting without surfacing. A 52mm thread mount is built into the lens. Note: This model is not compatible with the Fantasea Bayonet System.
